On April 9, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Upper Jasper County Water Authority, PWS ID 1210060 (North System Only) to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform customers, individuals, or employees, on RR 255 from the intersection of RR255 & Hwy 63W to CR 046, CR 047, CR 048, Hwy 63W (towards Jasper from RR 255 & 63W intersection to the Angelina River) and Trout Creek Community (CR 069A, CR 070, CR 071, CR 072) that due to an interruption in service caused by a necessary system repair, the water from our system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. 

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of April 10, 2023.
