On March 15, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Upper Jasper County Water Authority, PWS ID 1210064 (South System Only) to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform customers, individuals, or employees, from Zion Hill Baptist Church, South to County Road 313 (on the East side of Hwy 96), including County Roads 308, 310, 312, 313, and 434 that due to an interruption in service caused by a line break, the water from our system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. 

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of March 19, 2024.
