Texas Rural Water Association's Awards of Excellence honor some of the individuals and systems who have distinguished themselves in their efforts to support their systems, their communities and the rural water industry as a whole.  These awards were presented during the Opening General Session of RuralWaterCon 2023 by Chris Boyd, former TRWA director and chair of the Membership Committee.

The Excellence in Administration Award is meant to recognize supporting personnel whose hard work and dedication keep their utility's office administration running smoothly on a daily basis.

Shelley was chosen to receive this award based on her dedication to the Water Authority, her co-workers, and most of all her customers.
