On August 16, 2023, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Upper Jasper County Water Authority, PWS ID 1210060 (North System Only) to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform customers, individuals, or employees, in the Trout Creek and Ebenezer Communities from the Angelina River Bridge to FSR 333 and from the intersection of Hwy 63W/RR 255 to CR 032  that due to an interruption in service caused by a necessary system repair, the water from our system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. 

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of August 18, 2023.
