PLANNED WATER OUTAGE - NORTH SYSTEM SPECIFIC

Due to a line break that must be repaired, the water service in the following areas will be turned off tomorrow morning, June 24, 2021 at 5 a.m. Customers from the intersection of Hwy 63 W and County Road 082 (River Ridge Road) to the Angelina River Bridge will not have water service until this leak can be repaired.

The leak could take as little as a few hours to repair or it could take all day.  There is no way to know a timeframe for certain until the leak is uncovered and work is underway.

The field crew is suggesting that customers prepare for this outage by storing water for use during this time.  (Water for cooking, consumption, sanitation, etc.)  To flush a toilet using water from a bucket, pour it into the tank instead of the bowl as the controlled flush uses less water.

The planned outage area is as follows:  On Hwy 63W from the intersection of Hwy 63W and CR 082 (River Ridge Road) to the intersection of Hwy 63W and CR 080 (Water Authority Road), CR 080, CR 032E, CR 032W, CR 073, CR 074, CR 075, CR 076, CR 077, CR 078, CR 079, CR 1070, CR 1071, CR 1072, Creel Road, Crystal River I & Crystal River II.

When service is restored, this area will be under a Boil Water Notice.
